CU Series
The CU Series Plug and Cage Choke is designed with plug and cage trim which uses a solid plug with pressure balancing holes moving inside a ported cage to control flow. This design provides the maximum flow capacity for a cage trim choke valve. It is applicable for high capacity and medium pressure drop applications. The available working pressure is up to 15,000psi and bore size is up to 5-1/8".

¡ñ Pressure balancing plug and heavy duty thrust bearings design reduces operating torque.
¡ñ Plug and flow cage are generally supplied in tungsten carbide to enhance erosion resistance.
¡ñ Flow is directed into the trim via ports and impinges in the centre of the flow cage.
¡ñ Visual position indicator showing orifice size in the increment of 1/16 inch.
